This week’s theme for the Daily Post’s weekly challenge is ‘Rounded.’ We visited the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. at the Thomas Jefferson Building. The featured image shows the iconic Reading Room. The other images look around the perimeter with multiple dozens of architectural circles and arches. We were on an observation deck separated from the section reserved for researchers; we only had a few minutes then had to move on. I snapped shots as quickly as I could before they chased us away!

The parts of the building we saw were incredible – a neo-classic kind of design.

It was exquisitely designed inside and out. I’m glad we got to see it.
