This is the follow-up post to the view of the Reading Room at the Library of Congress. These images show the front entrance and the ‘tourist’s’ section of the library. Rooms branch out from the central area with all sorts of exhibits such as some of the original books donated by Thomas Jefferson, original courtroom sketches from several notorious trials, big event newspaper front pages and a 1455 Gutenburg Bible. This was my first visit to this building; we only saw a fraction of the exhibits so I will need to go back again some day.
