The Daily Post’s challenge theme for this week is ‘Texture.’ For today’s entry I am once again in an airplane. This scene is a neighborhood in New York City with its streets and angles, houses and open spaces. It looks like several patches of corduroy.

From what I read in the history books, New York was laid out by the Dutch. Boston, which has no straight street in the entire city, was laid out by those guys from the British Isles….
