WPC: Collage – The Class of 1937

The Plainfield High School Class of 1937 is on display! I never knew any of these graduates but I do for a fact know several of their progeny that live in this area!

  1. This is something common to many schools. When we were shown around the American Academy of Dramatic Arts there were many framed collages of each year’s graduating class – a cigarette card sized headshot of each graduate. As we passed our guide would point out one or two from each year who had gone on to be famous.

    “Look, here’s Kirk Douglas!”

I wondered what happened to other 149 enrollees that year. And indeed every year.
