1. Well, we Brits don’t find them anything difficult at all and they are everywhere. If it’s in a very busy place, you need the lanes to be marked out very, very carefully and a lot of our very biggest roundabouts also have traffic lights on them which are often only active during the rush hour. These give people who are waiting, a chance to get out when oncoming traffic is stopped. Roundabouts allow huge volumes of traffic a chance to move very quickly.
