“Never have more children than you have car windows.”
Erma Bombeck

So just what are the rules for kids and the car windows – particularly the front passenger window? At our house one could not just yell ‘Dibs!’ and that way secure the choice seat in the car. At first our rule was the oldest sat in the front-passenger seat. I was the second of four kids. At some time approximately coincidental to my older brother going to college the rule mysteriously changed to rotation. I really felt slighted. Such were the crises of my childhood.
