WPC: Resilient – Red Roses

The first hard frost hit our area on November 13. It took out most of the flowers – snap dragons, marigolds, and a lily – but the our single red-rose bush kept blooming for another ten days and two more frosts. It is a hearty (and resilient) plant.

  1. Oh wow! This is incredible! How did the flowers survive the frost? I love how detailed these photos are, you can see every little shard of ice.
