Sky On Fire

It has been a while since we have had a spectacular sunset like this past Tuesday. Yellow and orange swirls of clouds spread over the horizon. All the girls were out getting pictures of this one with me. I have already seen several scenes on Facebook. These three images are as-is straight out of the camera. The sequence includes my first and last capture, and they encompass five minutes in real-time. It did not last long!

      1. We’ve been playing “split the storm” here. It came towards us, then the bad stuff headed on South to you. Good for safety, bad for watering plants.

  1. This morning we had a fantastic red sunrise, just like the photograph on the left. Not good news though. I don’t know if you have the rhyme…”Red sky at night, shepherd’s delight, red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning”. So I’m sitting here, waiting for it all to start happening!
