I love the implied coy nature of the poppy, hiding in its casing…soon, it will dispense with pretense in fabulous, showy bloom! 🙂

For me. it’s the magnolia in the cold rain.(of which we are now in our third day. I haven’t even opened the curtains yet, because I can hear that ominous dripping and splashing)
