Cee’s Compose Yourself Challenge: Symmetry

The image at the pond has a smooth water surface so the reflection and the tree line match quite well. The line of symmetry here is not quite horizontal due to the receding shoreline.

The Indiana State Capital stands at the end of Market Street dividing the image vertically. Using black and white removes the color along the sidewalk that might distract away from the center line of the image.

Looking up at the Indiana World War Memorial one can easily see the symmetric design.

This symmetric lines of this pedestrian bridge telescopes the eye toward the roundabout’s marker at the opposite end.

Finally, the elevator support brackets in the Soldiers and Sailors Monument give more than one line of symmetry in the same image!
